Chestnut Vavilov (Chestnut MI Vavilov) - a botanical natural monument of local importance in Ukraine. Located on the northern outskirts of Poltava, Swedish Street, 88 (the territory of the agricultural research station).
The status was awarded to preserve one specimen of horse chestnut, named in 1987 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of scientist MI Vavilov. Under the chestnut, the scientist rested during practice in 1910, was photographed in 1912 and 1923, when he came to the research station.
