Today, as part of the celebration of the International Museum Day, the first city street sensory tourist information kiosk (TIC) was inaugurated on the Cathedral Square. The celebrations were attended by the head of the Poltava territorial community Oleksandr Mamai, city museum workers, city guides and representatives of the Department of Culture, Youth and Family of the Poltava City Council.
TIC is established within the framework of the City Program "Poltava Tourist" - the supplier of LLC "Sensory Systems of Ukraine" (Kyiv). The main screen of the kiosk has 9 sections, which contain information about accommodation, food, taxi services, tour guides, leisure calendar of the city and more. The information content of the kiosk is planned to be constantly updated and improved.
In addition, museums received webcams for remote work as gifts on the occasion of the industry holiday.
