On the initiative of the Department of Culture, Youth and Family of the Poltava City Council and the Department of Education of the Poltava City Council, a city-wide informational and educational campaign "Schoolchildren in the Museum" was held on October 23-29, 2023 during the autumn holidays. The purpose of the campaign is to organize meaningful leisure time for students of general educational institutions.
The action was supported by all museum institutions of the communal sphere of the city administration, namely:Poltava Battlefield State Historical and Cultural Reserve, Art museum (art gallery) named after M. Yaroshenko, Ivan Kotliarevskyi Literary Memorial Museum, Volodymyr Korolenko Literary-memorial museum, Panas Myrnyi Literary Memorial Museum. 475 students visited the Poltava museums during the promotion period. Special museum accounts were replenished by UAH 12,475.
