From now on, the museum of the history of the Battle of Poltava has access to an interpreter for every deaf person who knows Ukrainian sign language. A corresponding function has appeared on our official website.

The Polish company Migam www.migam.org provides free access to the "Ukrainian sign language interpreter" from March 1, 2022. Since the beginning of the war between Russia and Ukraine. This service is funded by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) www.rescue.org

Cooperation between Migam and IRC helps in solving current issues and problems of Ukrainians with hearing impairment not only in our country, but also abroad. The translators communicate in USL, Polish and Ukrainian languages.

Today we tested communication with translators, discussed organizational issues. Now every person who knows Ukrainian sign language has the opportunity to establish contact with the museum staff.

The service will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
